We had been collecting images (both photos and video) of poppy flowers for more than a year; and also trying to cultivate real ones on the terrace. It seems that poppies grow more efficiently in wild places – in an un-plowed field, in the cemetery, in the countryside – than they do with too much care and attention at home !
