According to the Swiss TV, 12,000 people assisted to the Martigny Pride and there were no recorded counter-manifestations as were very visible in 2001 and much more discreet in 2015 in Sion by the church from this very conservative, Catholic region. It would appear that there is an acceptance now, or could it be simply a reasonable tolerance?
