En 2023, la Suisse perd une place au classement européen en matière de droits LGBTQIA+ et se retrouve 20ème.

Le cahier des revendications a été créé lors de l’édition 2020 de la Pride et soutenu par la majeur partie des associations et collectifs romand.e.s.​​ Pour cette édition 2025, la Geneva Pride a revu ses revendications en regard à l’avancement des lois et des droits des personnes LGBTQIA+. In 2023, Switzerland loses one place in the European ranking in terms of LGBTQIA+ rights and finds itself 20th.

The list of demands was created during the 2020 edition of Pride and supported by the majority of French-speaking associations and collectives.​​ For this 2025 edition, Geneva Pride has reviewed its demands with regard to the advancement of laws and the rights of LGBTQIA+ people. Budapest, Hungary: Geneva Pride organizers expected 30,000 – actual might have been a bit lower as it was cloudy and a holiday weekend (Pentecost), but check out what happened 3 weeks later in Budapest (photo below) starting with a similar initial expectation then crowds of 180 – 200,000 turned up !! We pray there will be no reprisals from the Hungarian government but it was the most beautiful message for LGBTIQ+, more importantly for democracy and rights.
