Photo club Gland – high level of care and quality. —

Our first contact and visit to this club’s exhibition – held in the Grand-Champ facility (school, theater, library) right next to us. A good level was expected but we were blown away with the care and attention of display and the consistently high quality of work across the the exhibitors. Clearly the members are serious about what they do, and a lot of work has gone into creating a really special result. Photos here show only a partial view of all the photo series on display. Series are by theme, one of which is the integration of photographic work and post-manipulation by Photo Shop. It is interesting to see this method of work displayed as an art form in its own right (one partial series in image ten below). As the two worlds of direct photography and assisted creation merge and morph, it is hoped that transparency of source, method, and technique will prevail.
